We are an inclusive two form primary school in Crosland Moor, Huddersfield where we celebrate the richly diverse multicultural community. We work in partnership with parents and the community to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment for all our pupils and staff. Our Christian vision of “Be the Best You Can Be” is at the heart of our ambition for our pupils and is based on the parable of the Mustard Seed (Matthew 13:31-32).

Our hardworking staff team support pupils to reach their full potential academically, spiritually, emotionally and physically and work hard to remove any barriers to pupils’ learning. We are a school who is dedicated to improvement and supporting staff, pupils, families and community members to “Be the Best You Can Be”.  

With 29 languages spoken in school, our core values of Respect, Love, Endeavour and Joy are at the centre of everything we do. The well-being and safety of children are paramount at Oak Primary. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children, and expect all staff, volunteers and parents to share this commitment.  We have a dedicated and experienced team who are always on hand to support children and their families. Through a broad curriculum and nurturing, respectful relationships we aim to develop and embed habits and attitudes that enable our pupils to be responsible citizens and independent learners – facing difficulty and uncertainty calmly and confidently.
